Elizabeth Charron
Considering that I will potentially know all about you, I thought you would like to know a bit about me and my journey to becoming a midwife.
I became a midwife, unknowingly, in 1996 with the birth of my first child. Three years later I delivered my second. Midwifery always seemed a far off unreachable place due to my dedication to attachment parenting. As my children grew, I searched for something that would fulfill me as much as mothering had. The only logical next step was midwifery, where I could extend my passion for mothering to new mothers to be.
In February 2010, I began my journey under the tutelage of Janice Heller, a midwife of 35 years. Janice would soon become the Director of the International Institute for Healthcare Professionals where I began my formal training in June of 2010. By the time I was licensed, I had attended over 250 births with fourteen of the top midwives in Broward and Dade Counties.
I am also the Owner and Midwife of Palms Birth House. I am the mother of four wonderful children. My team and I are here to provide quality birthing care to you and support to your family because it is a privilege that we take seriously. Our holistic approach strives to support the whole family throughout the birthing process. I would not dream of any other career. My moms, my midwives and my children have made my life complete. I truly look forward to meeting you and being a part of your growing family through this beautiful transition.
